01Introduction
Welcome to Dorqa. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dorqa platform, including the website at dorqa.io, the application at app.dorqa.io, and any related tools, features, content, or services (together, the "Service").
The Service is operated by BirdMatrix LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India under LLP ID AAY-2584, with its registered office in Gurugram, Haryana ("Dorqa", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You can use Dorqa for free or upgrade to a paid plan. You own your data. We provide the platform "as is" but work hard to keep it reliable. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the prior 12 months. Disputes are resolved under Indian law in Gurugram, Haryana.

03Your account
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an Account. By creating an Account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
Registration
You can create an Account using your email address or a supported third-party sign-in method. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account.
Multiple accounts & sharing
One person may hold one Account. Sharing login credentials across multiple users to circumvent plan restrictions is not permitted. Multi-seat team access is not currently offered; if we introduce it, the seat allowance will be stated on your Plan.
Account security
If you suspect unauthorised access to your Account, contact us immediately at support@dorqa.io. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your Account that results from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
04The service
Dorqa is an intelligence platform combining six layers: SEO Intelligence, AI Visibility, Local SEO, YouTube Intelligence, Trend Intelligence, and Audience Intelligence. Specific features and limits depend on your Plan and are described on our pricing page.
Beta features
From time to time we release features marked as "beta", "early access", or similar. These features are provided experimentally, may change or be removed without notice, and are not subject to the same service-level expectations as our generally available features.
Modifications to the service
We continuously improve the Service and may add, modify, or remove features. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes that meaningfully affect paid users via email or in-app notification.
05Payment & billing
Plans & pricing
Current pricing is published at dorqa.io/pricing. We bill in two currencies: Indian Rupees (INR) for users in India, and US Dollars (USD) for users elsewhere. Pricing is automatically detected based on your location, and you can switch manually if needed.
Billing cycles
Paid Plans are available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Annual subscriptions are charged upfront and offer a discount compared to monthly billing. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar date each month.
Payment processors
We use Razorpay for INR transactions and Paddle as our Merchant of Record for international (USD) transactions. By subscribing, you agree to the terms of the relevant payment processor in addition to these Terms. Paddle handles taxes (sales tax, VAT, GST) on international transactions where applicable.
Renewal & cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel at any time from your Account settings or by emailing support@dorqa.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
Price changes
We may change pricing for new subscriptions at any time. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before any price change takes effect at your next renewal. You may cancel before renewal if you do not accept the new pricing.
Failed payments
If payment fails, we will retry over a 7-day grace period and notify you. If payment cannot be collected, your Account will be downgraded to the Free Plan. Your data is preserved and access can be restored once payment is successful.
06Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription, subject to eligibility. You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your initial paid subscription transaction, and eligible refunds are processed in full to the original payment method. Full details, including the eligibility conditions, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Because Dorqa provides a free-forever tier and free tools to evaluate the Service before paying, the guarantee is intended for good-faith evaluation. A request is normally eligible where it is made within the 14-day window and the account has made only minimal use of the paid plan's features and credits during that period. Requests from accounts that have substantially used the Service during the window — for example, consuming a large share of monthly credits, or running bulk exports and reports — are reviewed case by case and may be refunded in part or declined, at our reasonable discretion.
Account-level abuse (including the patterns described in our Acceptable Use policy) is enforced separately. Chargeback initiation without prior contact with our support team, and other specific misuse patterns, may result in account termination — independent of how we process any refund request.
The Free Plan and Free Tools let you experience Dorqa without paying. We strongly recommend testing the platform first to make an informed decision before subscribing.
07Acceptable use
We offer a fair refund policy and transparent pricing because we trust our customers. In return, we expect good-faith use of the Service. Violations of this section may result in account suspension or termination, independent of any refund request.
General prohibitions
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others
- Scrape, mirror, or resell Dorqa's data, reports, or interface to third parties (other than reports you produce for your own clients under an Agency or Enterprise Plan)
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Submit malicious code, spam, harassment, or content designed to harm the Service or other users
- Circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, billing, or access controls through technical or organisational means
- Use the Service to compete directly by replicating substantial portions of its functionality
- Generate or amplify content intended to mislead, defraud, or manipulate search results in ways that violate search engine guidelines
Account integrity
Each paid Subscription is licensed to one person or organisation. To maintain fair access for all users:
- Creating multiple Accounts to bypass Free Plan limits, access gated features, or repeat the refund window is prohibited
- Sharing login credentials across individuals is prohibited
- Using disposable or masked email addresses to create serial Accounts is prohibited
- Transferring or reselling your Account without our prior written consent is prohibited
Fair use of the Service
While we don't impose hidden usage caps, we reserve the right to rate-limit, downgrade, or suspend Accounts that:
- Generate abnormally high feature or credit usage that materially exceeds the reasonable scope of the selected Plan
- Use automation (bots, scrapers, scripts) to extract data at volumes inconsistent with normal human use
- Rapidly cycle through scans, audits, or reports solely to extract data before cancelling or requesting a refund
If your use case requires unusually high volumes, please contact us about Enterprise arrangements. Most legitimate usage will never trigger this clause.
Refund and chargeback conduct
Our Refund Policy offers a 14-day money-back guarantee subject to eligibility, and we honour eligible requests in full. To keep this guarantee fair and sustainable, and to prevent abuse:
- Requesting refunds across multiple Accounts, or using the refund window as a de-facto free trial cycle, constitutes abuse and may result in account termination and a ban on future signups
- Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting support@dorqa.io violates these Terms and constitutes an immediate grounds for account termination. We may contest such chargebacks using our transaction and usage records
- Using the Service substantially — including consuming a large share of monthly credits, or running bulk exports and reports — during the refund window is a factor we weigh when assessing eligibility, and may result in a partial refund or a declined request, and, where abuse is evident, account termination
Agency and Enterprise Plans
Agency and Enterprise Plans are licensed to one person or organisation, for work on that organisation's own clients. Exceeding the verified-domain limit of your Plan through workarounds, or using an Agency Plan to aggregate demand from would-be individual subscribers (effectively acting as a bulk buyer), is a breach.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations using Account activity records, billing records, usage logs, IP addresses, device fingerprints, and communication history. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may issue warnings, temporarily suspend the Account, permanently terminate the Account, retain pre-paid fees for the billing period in which the violation occurred, or report the violation to appropriate authorities. Account termination for abuse is independent of any lawful refund obligation — we will assess and process your lawful refund request in line with our Refund Policy, separately from any decision to terminate or ban your Account.
08Your data & privacy
You retain all rights to the Content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and analyse your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
We do not sell your Content. We do not use your Content to train third-party AI models. Aggregated, de-identified usage patterns may be used to improve our algorithms and product.
Full details on what data we collect, why, and how it is processed are in our Privacy Policy.
09Intellectual property
Our IP
The Service, including all software, design, branding, content (other than your Content), trademarks, logos, and documentation, is owned by BirdMatrix LLP or our licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. The Dorqa name, the Dorqa mark (the two-slash logo), and the tagline "Be first. Not just found." are our trademarks.
Your IP
You own the Content you submit. You own the reports, briefs, and outputs the Service generates from your Content for your use.
Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, we may use them without restriction or compensation. You confirm that any such feedback is original and does not infringe third-party rights.
10Third-party services
The Service integrates with and depends on third-party services, including but not limited to: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, YouTube Data API, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, DataForSEO, Ahrefs Firehose, Groq, Jina AI, Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, GitHub, and Y Combinator. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of third-party services. Connecting your accounts (e.g. Google Search Console) is governed by the terms of those providers in addition to these Terms.
11Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, force majeure events, or technical issues. For paid Plans, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.
Specific service-level commitments may apply to Enterprise Plans under separate written agreements.
12Termination
Termination by you
You may close your Account at any time from Account settings or by contacting support@dorqa.io. On closure, your Subscription is cancelled and access ends at the end of the current billing period.
Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your Account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for any of the following:
- Material breach of these Terms, including violations of the Acceptable Use section (Section 7)
- Non-payment of fees beyond the grace period described in Section 5
- Creating multiple Accounts to bypass Plan limits or the refund window
- Chargeback initiation without first contacting our support team
- Evidence of fraudulent signups, stolen payment credentials, or coordinated abuse
- Exceeding reasonable fair-use limits after warnings
- Any use of the Service that harms us, our other users, or third parties
- Legal or regulatory requirements compelling us to terminate access
Refund obligations on termination
Termination of an Account for abuse does not extinguish your lawful right to a refund under our Refund Policy. We will assess and process any lawful refund request in accordance with that policy, separately from any decision to terminate or ban your Account. However, termination does extinguish your right to continue using the Service, to create a new Account under a different email, or to access any cached reports, exports, or data generated during the Subscription.
Effect of termination
On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow reactivation (if the termination is not for cause), after which it will be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. For terminations due to abuse, fraud, or material breach, we may delete data sooner and block the associated email addresses, payment methods, and device fingerprints from future signups. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, liability, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.
13Warranties & disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of data. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcomes (rankings, traffic, AI citations, conversions) will result from using it.
SEO and AI visibility outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your content, your industry, search engine algorithms, and the behaviour of LLM platforms. Dorqa provides intelligence and tools — results depend on how you use them.
14Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BirdMatrix LLP, its partners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, goodwill, or rankings, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising under or related to these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹10,000 INR / USD 120.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability — in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
15Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BirdMatrix LLP and its partners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your Content; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Service, our business, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when these Terms were most recently modified.
17Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution by contacting support@dorqa.io with a written description of the dispute. If the matter is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed to litigation in the agreed jurisdiction.
